She has her littermate left (another doe). She's the same color, but solid.

Buy 'em both and get a good buck.

Your son needs a wholesome hobby, y'know. Start him showing the ML's in Youth.

With those lines, he should do very well on the tables and then you can really make some money on the rabbits by selling to other Youth exhibitors. You will always have "pet quality" as well, so still have that market- but (non-show) people pay a lot more at shows for pets than they do off of CL. :greedy:

C'mon, Syber... you know you want to. :p

Not to mention, those poor home-schooled children are so lacking in socialization, that it is of utmost importance to get him out amongst people.

__________ Tue Apr 07, 2015 2:31 pm __________

If not for yourself, do it for your son!

Ruh-roh. We have temporarily scared Syberchick into going "offline". Do you think she is hiding from us? :hiding: She should know THAT wont work.

Then again... :hmm: maybe she is making an important phone call regarding those does. And the yet unknown buck.

Hahaha... I had to make the journey from my shop back home.
I have returned.
Of course, now I have to sneak RT in between family time...

Ummmm... are you side tracking the issue?
If I recall, we were encouraging you to do yourself the favor of adding that other doe... you know, since you did ask our opinions...

:thewave:

I would get the second doe if I was you, especially since Mini Lops are rare in......where you live... They're pretty uncommon in California too.... I finally found 2 chestnut Mini Lop does not too far from here. I wish that I could get both, but I can't afford it. I'm going to pick her up at the end of the month. I'll breed her, and then keep a doe, and then I'd have my 2 Mini Lop does

I'm processing!!! :p I really want to save my doe space for one of the colors I wanted in the first place. Two chestnut does would have me overflowing with chestnut kits... :p

__________ Tue Apr 07, 2015 5:42 pm __________

I've been saved... the sister has already been snapped up.

We have a 10x20 greenhouse and I'm wondering how hard it would be to turn it into a bunny shed.....

Pry would have to rip out the paneling and replace it with plywood or sheet metal. At least ya got a frame to work with. ^.^

I'm thinking of covering the panels, they're only on one side, but concerned there would be a heat issue even so. It's well ventilated but I worry it would get too hot in summer. It's too far to easily run electricity for fans.

__________ Wed Apr 08, 2015 8:02 am __________

This little guy just popped up for sale. They're asking $75.
I like his color but... I think his face and shoulders might be kind of narrow?

Well, he is pretty, but I don't like how long he is in the shoulder.

Gosh I'm getting awfully picky now, am I not?? ;)

Is that the area between his ear and the crest of his back in the side shot? I mean, there are a few things that I think look 'off' now (compared to the very nice doe I just purchased) but I can't necessarily tell what they are, or whether it would be a safe bet to pick this little 4 month old buck up because his flaws aren't that bad... or whether I should steer away because of the potential of mucking up the kits. :p
