So that means she could go any day now. She's such a lover. Her udder is full. I can't wait!

__________ Sun Oct 13, 2013 8:17 am __________

Mamma Nach is due tomorrow!!!!! I can't wait for her to go into labor. I have her kidding pen all ready. :) :) :)

COME ON ALREADY I WANNA SEE YOUR BABY!!!!!

Oh Dayna, I just love her! What breed is she? She reminds me of a Toggenburg we used to have. Hope all goes well with the kidding and she has a baby girl! :)

She's a feral goatie. Kind of a blend of all the goats that were brought to the Islands way back when and escaped into the wilds. She was captured as a baby.

Her horns are so amazing and she's the smartest goat I've ever met. She "talks" to me. She has different calls, volumes, depending on what she wants. Today she is making little tiny sounds and scratching her belly with her horns. She did not scream at me this morning for our normal daily walkie so I imagine she is very very close!

That's so neat, Dayna! Good luck with your goat kid(s). :) You're reminding me how much I eventually want a couple of goats around. I've always been super fond of them; they're like dogs, but I'm not allergic to them!

That is too cool! Feral Hawian Goat. I want! :p
I love historical things including livestosck. It would be cool to have a herd of those. :)

(GASP) Oh wonderful!! I hope all is going well. I just now saw this post.
Some folks say their goats ALWAYS wait for bad weather. So far I've been lucky, mine like daytime nice weather deliveries. LOL

The weather is so bad that we've had to move her in with some baby buns. I blocked off the buns in a corner and she has the rest of the old macaw aviary. 2 feet from my back door. Put down some fresh straw, and she's nice and dry now. She was soaked and SCREAMING.

__________ Fri Oct 18, 2013 6:48 pm __________

Here you can see her right out the back door. You can kinda see where I boxed off the grow out rabbits. Nacho is MUCH happier.
