So, another reason not to get a lop.. I didn't think this was an issue with frenchies, but oh well..

Fläder has pieces lacking on her ears. The position tell me she has probably stepped on them and torn the pieces off.. possibly the ears were frozen as well making them more vulnerable. (outdoor pen)

My solution is the same; keep ears off the ground. So.. how can I keep the ears up without causing her pain? Vetwrap them together?

I hope she grows into her big ears.

I've always seen those rabbits with ears that drag, have little nicks and bits missing. I assumed the breeders knew, but they didn't care as long as the ears are long and heal up. Ears carry big vessels in them, I'd be paranoid if I had one of those rabbits.

She's a french lop, not an english, so the ears are not huge, the big vessels are far from the ground. But she's young, I think she'll grow into hr ears more too.
I doubt this will heal up fully, pieces are missing..

I've seen some amazing ear injuries that healed very well. I worked for years in a salon...trust me I've seen some BADLY cut ears. One gal practically bifurcated a poor pup's ear!!! They healed well, with a little TLC. I'd vetwrap them up until they are healed, to keep her from stepping on them again and re-injuring them.

Will vetwrp be nice to them? Not putting preassure or such that harms?
