As you may(or may not)remember my mini rex doe gave birth to 6 kits 1 week ago, 3 died, and 3 lived after some intervention, warming them up and keeping them in the house. 1 kit looks great nice and fat and healthy looking. The other 2, not so much. They are about half the size, and they have a squishy feeling lump on their neck. I am not sure what it is? I am thinking i should probably go ahead and cull them, but first just wanted to hear other experts advice. I will try and get some pics in a little bit.

Oh no! :(

The "squishy lump" doesn't sound good. I haven't ever seen that before. :?

Hopefully someone will have an idea of what it could be once you get some pics posted. :clover:

its hard to get the lumps pictured this is the best I could do. The black kits is worse, he looks like he has a double chin.

I can't really see the lumps.

They look glossy furred, just a bit small. I would wait and see how they do.

Their necks are swollen looking, like a lymph-node infection or gout type issue people have. No idea what would cause it and how they will do...Sorry. Good luck!

I guess since they are still really active and eating i will wait and see.

I wonder if it could be an infection maybe because they were chilled? I do have some antibiotics i could give them if needed, i just dont know how much you would give to something that small.
