j clips or cage clamps (from TSC) for cages?

the j clips are cheaper but they look like they will need replaced relatively soon for as flimsy as they look. anyone have any experience with the cage clamps?

Don't waste your money on the j clips or the applier from TSC. Both complete junk...I have never used the plastic clamps but they ARE plastic...I would order J Clips and an applier from Bass or Klubertanz.

+1 wasted my money on the stuff at TSC broke the pliers in less than 10 mins

The reviews for the pliers say it all! Look up those reviews on the website.
I bought my pliers and j clips from my local feed store. They work great, I have had them for years. The clips I put on SEVERAL years ago, bought from the same feed store, are still holding up great. I bought a second pair of pliers so that 2 people can cage build together, goes much faster. Check your local feed store (other than TSC). If they don't have any, ask them if they can order some in. Unless u already have to make an order from an online store.

I will definitly 2nd that!! I bought the j clips and pliers from tsc, I returned them that day because they broke before I even finished the cage!
