At the local fall festival they have an area that has an old machine that hooks up the horse on a long pole and walks around and feed the stalks through and crushes it. it makes the syrup that people use as sweeteners. they sell it in jars. I was wondering about it as feed. Stalk and seed. this is the best thing I have found so far. I will try and add any other decent reads I find.
this is on using it with layer chickens and affecting rates etc. on down a bit it says corn protein is about 9.8% and the sorghum is about 8.9%
