I wish some of my stock was local XD All mines is from the West Coast (Oregon) and a few from Kansas. I've picked them up from shows,transport,Convention,...etc. You are not alone LOL One time made a trip to the Carolinas for trio andddddd one threw me weird defects (cull) , the buck never grew any desire to breed (cull), and only one did anything beneficial to my herd. All lovely animals but I know I was thinking the same thing when I went to get them. You are not alone XD

__________ Mon Dec 23, 2013 1:44 pm __________

I drove 12 hours round trip to pick up 3 Champagnes last spring. My husband thought I was insane.

Then he made the mistake of deciding to go on a road trip with his buddies to see a Vikings game next Feb. "In Minnesota?" I asked innocently. "Um.... yeaaaah, why?" he replied, his eyes narrowing in wary suspicion.

Now I'm trying to track down Champagne breeders along the route from Amarillo, TX to Minneapolis, MN. The least he can do is bring me back some nice young does!

Anything that involves traveling these days always includes something rabbit related and my BF knows when it's coming LOL

However, we took a small vacation down to FL to visit with part of his family and it was WEIRD. It was the first time in forever we weren't doing anything rabbit related. I kept thinking I had something to do, ESPECIALLY when I'm so used to doing rabbit chores in the morning. I always wake up around 7:30/8am to start my day and I kept getting him up early to walk to town, grab some breakfast, and then take a walk on the beach. I like to be kept busy and moving.
