So other than my panicked post a few days ago, I'm glad to be back on here
The herd is doing great since and haven't had any further incidences and got help from the GA Ag. Vet. Sad that it had to be one of my best does, but that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes, but I feel better knowing the case won't effect the herd. I do think it may have had to do with a bag of feed I fed the week prior. My feed is normally great, but I noticed some clumps and I just happened to recall it when I thought about it.
However on another note, I did find out my feedstore is selling food made in October 2013 and they are taking steps to correct it. (I had not fed these to my rabbits yet) I was restacking the feed pile (new to old) and noticed my last 5 purchased bags were in the "old" style bags. They probably think I'm seriously the crazy bunny lady of all time. ancake:
In good news:
School has certainly taken up a lot of my time. Finished this semester with 3 A's and 1 B....I finally can put my application in for the history teaching program . It's nice to have the summer off and making time to visit with friends, get projects done, and spend more quality time with the herd.
In rabbits, I think I have strong show string coming up and I'm already thinking I have found some convention prospects!

I'm growing out a lot of bucks, but until they mature I can't decide who I like more  Hopefully I'll be able to let some go as they mature.
Have a few more breedings and juniors growing up here and there, but I'm just glad I accomplished some breeding goals that I was hoping to this year.
We do have a few rabbits coming in from my "mother" rabbitry in July and I'm excited. We are going to have some COLOR in the barn! I'll finally have a nicely typed doe orange doe to integrate into the program.
and we had a fatal case of TORT hit our rabbitry
I've never been crazy about tort, but I do have to say, I do like that fat face on the solid black tort.
addddd this guy!
Meet Tommy the Turkey! I went up to stay for the weekend at my friend's little farm, and she took me to a feed store that has a turkey meet and greet you at the door! ( And I may or may not have had anything to do with her ordering one for her farm  )
She also introduced me to her flock of Seramas and her hen conveniently had chicks a few days before!
My treatment there was "horrendous" :dinner:
Glad to be back. Chubby chin roll baby says hi!
