HELP! Baby can't pee

We have had a LOT of rain the last 2 days so I have not been outside checking on the buns as much. Today I went out to check all the babies over and I found this:


All other babies appear normal. This one is still be acting normal. Doesn't appear to be able to pee. It is swollen shut!!!!

It looks like the surrounding fur is discolored by urine- maybe it has urine scald? I would wash it off with warm water and betadine if you have it, and put some baby rash ointment on it. You could also try Vetricin spray or something similar.

Wow, that looks painful! I agree with MamaSheepdog, though... it does look like the surrounding fur is discolored. Her treatment sounds very reasonable. If the baby rash ointment doesn't help by tomorrow, maybe some Neosporin.

And maybe trim the fur as close to the skin as possible in that area to get some airflow to the area
