Future first time rabbit owner. Interested in Silver Fox rabbits, getting ready to build hutches. We have a mini homestead on several acers in the country with gardens, chickens, and are ready to add rabbits.

hi & Welcome This is a great place to learn and ask questions. I love SC, you have a great area to homestead. Chickens are great to eat any dropped rabbit chow pellets and toss/turn the rabbit manure

We built our hutches near the garden and with replaceable floor panels. The first thing in a bunny hutch to need repair or replacement is the floors. The bunny manure is excellent for gardens and it can go directly onto them without any composting. Also, bunny safe weeds and greens from the garden can feed the bunnies. Bunnies and gardens do well together when the bunnies aren't allowed to eat everything you want to eat.
