My does get kale twice a week ( on the other days they get carrots, willow branches etc...) and the kits nibble on this starting around 4 weeks. My girls scarf it down pretty quick so the kits dont get too much and once they are in the colony grow pen out they get some veg daily but must share with two or three other litters.

I let mine have access to whatever their mother is eating--so, as soon as they atart exploring wioth their mouths at two weeks or so, they start nibbling...

Since your bunnies are already 6 weeks and past the test-nibbling stage and into the scarf-it-down stage, I would offer small amounts to start and gradually work up to larger amounts.

:yeahthat:

In future, just give the young kits access to whatever mom is eating. But with this litter, they are just at the point where weaning enteritis can be a problem... so make all changes in diet very slowly.
