So I took three polish (pepper, val and Shaya) to the show today. Pepper and Val won their classes (but not variety) and Shaya didn't do as well as last time, but still got decent comments. Pepper went home with a fellow breeder for the summer, hoping to get some kits off a good buck from her.
I also brought two others... a harlequin buck that I don't much like but he has a three part front. He was the only harlequin there so won his class. I also wanted to encourage a holland lop breeder, so I entered Acorn. She's not a great rabbit as her head hasn't come in yet (only three months old) but she got better comments than I expected.
What can I say... this club put on on excellent show...it was so nice to have it in a barn, instead of a sterile fairground building. We had good people, good showing, good food, fun and an enjoyable time with 4H youth, some of my pet bunny people came along as well. Really neat to have that.
Definitely want to do this show again.
