It's a double show, but I'm having a hard time finding info. It's listed on the ARBA website though. Do I email the person listed and ask them?

Also: I haven't joined the ARBA again yet, do they still list your address on all their info (their yearbook etc?)? If so I might run over and get a PO box, that makes me kind of nervous in this day and age of animal rights..

Eek, hope I remember how to do all of this! I had planned to go watch one first, but this is the only one I can get to this fall. Ironically enough though, it's the same club I first showed with when I was 12...

If you email the show secretary listed they should send you a catalog. I'm not sure about the ARBA listing your address.

The person listed on the ARBA site in their show search section is the club's show secretary. They should be able to get you a copy of their catalog, most likely by email. If not by email, then it will be by what is referred to as "snail mail" or USPS.

Some things about showrooms have not changed at most of the shows you'll go to. Dwarfs, Dutch, most of the lop breeds, and New Zealands are the more common breeds. A couple of new ones (mini rex, mini satins) are now on the scene, with the former of the two being enormously popular. Of course, the faces of showroom breeders will have changed almost across the board.

I'll send an email off. This will be my first time ever showing Angoras too. But I won't learn if I don't jump in... It will be weird showing a non-popular breed, I used to show Dwarfs, so I was used to huge classes. Now, I realize there may not even be enough for a leg in the entire breed.

In the time since we rejoined ARBA... we have gotten Nothing like a Yearbook..and Nothing with Names and addresses. Probably a good thing...given the currant ar atmosphere.....

I think the ARBA is in the process of rewriting the yearbook. I have mixed feelings on it, though. 30 years ago, it was a thrill to see my name in the things. In this day and time, identity theft is a major concern for anyone, and a little bit of personal info can wreck just about anyone once it falls into the wrong hands.

Yeah, I am not sure how I feel about this. I want to register rabbits, but I'm really not pleased with having my info published.. I think I'll get a PO box and run it from there. Or maybe I'm just paranoid. I guess I don't have to register at the first show though, I can just take a group to someone's house. That might be better anyway, I always hated tattooing at shows.
