First Cali Litter

[Lapin]

My first cali litter was born yesterday around noon. The mid day kindle was surprise.Five healthy kits born all survived. I check them again this morning and they all had fat bellies. I crossed my cali buck with a mixed dutch and she is due friday. I will post on their progress.

LOL! No but funny thing is me and Celeste met on yahoo meat rabbit group a few weeks ago and have been keeping in touch. Small WWW . Mated my other cali and dutch this morning. That cali is pyhco she bit me! Good thing I thing put gloves on. Other dutch is due tonight and has made herself a nice nest. Cali kits were fat and happy this morning.

Me and Celeste so far. :lol: . An hour after my last post my Dutch had her litter. Only three kits but they are Heathty.<br /><br />__________ Wed May 16, 2012 7:24 am __________<br /><br />Seven day update. They are growing fast and are all healthy but a little scratched up.

Have you trimmed the doe's nails? I always trim mine before I put them with the buck, and again at about their third week of gestation, so the clipped edges have time to smooth out.
