Have you seen the Big Bang Theory where Sheldon is teaching Leonard about football and talks about coming from TX and being an expert in frying meats that aren't chicken as if they were chicken? Yeah, that's pretty much how my mom cooked. I think the only reason my husband married me was because he thought I would cook like my mom does. Unfortunately, I pulled the old bait and switch. I don't fry everything EVERY day, the way she did.
