Gave all my rabbits a good once over today, as always they are healthy and happy, I've decided on offering her rabbit back and keeping my bunny till he's at least a little older.
@curlysue, I'll be going to my first show ever on Feb 18 in Victoria BC,I hope to do more so I can meet more breeders, I have a decent range of colors.
Thank you everyone, I'm kind of isolated for rabbit savy people out here, I can't remember where I found the link to this site by I'm so glad I did.
The breeder was not so much a mentor but just the only person with years of experence with my breed that I can get together in person to talk rabbits. I tracked her down because I found a beautiful buck in a rescue and it came from her rabbitry, the buck I sold her was the grandson of that buck and the brother is the last of that line.
I like the woman, she's been retired for a number of years and now runs a day care, I just can't stand the idea that I sold her a rabbit that was not healthy and the time frame just seemed a little off.

BlackBunny,

You are not responsible for what happens
to the sold rabbit after seven days.
The "Breeder/Rabbit person" is obviously not
the person you want guiding you.
Any breeder would at least have some
idea/explanation for what was happening to the rabbit/kit.
I would most definitely NOT deal with said person anymore,
but that's just me! Anyone who raises rabbits for any reason
should at least have a general knowledge of Diseases
and their treatments. She/He is Not a good source of knowledge
or breeding stock. Try to introduce yourself to the breeders
that you meet at a Rabbit Show, I can assure you that it
will be "a walk in the park".
