i have lionheads, mostly planning a BEW line at the minute. but id also like some dutch marked like the pic below. but ive heard two different stories on how to breed them. some say the dutch marked lionhead is just from bew and vm lines, others have recomended crossing lionhead x dutch and breeding the offspring back to lionheads to get the manes. which would you do?

The amount of white a Vienna marked rabbit gets is random - some may only have a white toe and others can be mistaken for broken and many times kits with a Vienna gene have no white marks (called Vienna carriers)

If you want consistency then I would start a second project of Dutch lionheads.

PS - it seems that Vienna paired with broken can create false hotots or false Charlie's and I suspect Vienna paired with the Dutch - the third white modifiying gene - could have a similar effect.
