Dead toe...

I have a doe who just had a litter of 10. She delivered 7 in her nest during the day and then in the night she had 3 more on the wire. One she ate half of, another died, I assume of chill and the third was still alive so we added it to the next. It’s alive and fed but we notice one of its toes on it’s back leg looks dead, must have been damaged on the wire. Is there anything I need to do for this? Will it fall off? Will it effect anything?

i agree with mini lop mama. as long as its not infected at all it shouldn't be a problem and it will probably fall of eventually

Thanks! I guess it was two toes that turned black, better to see now that they’re bigger. One has fallen off and the other is still hanging on for now. I’m watching for infection, since due to the one falling off there is fresh exposed flesh.
