Covention...How many classes?

Do I was thinking....even though I'm not going to convention...how many classes do rabbits do at convention?

Single,double,triple?


I've been wondering this for a while lol

it is like a Gigantic Single show. Unless also entered in fur classes... a rabbit is shown only one time.

I can't imagine how a judge could pick just one out of so many! What breed one BIS last year at convention?

Last year a New Zealand won BIS.

There were Over 21,000 rabbits entered last year.

16,154 in open

5,480 in youth

The judges for specific breeds are usually requested by the membership in That breed club. Some of the breeds with Huge entries will have multiple judges.

There were over 200 in Youth Jersey Wooly ...and 414 in Open.

Mini Lops.... Open....854 Youth not quite 300.


It is Amazing to SEE all those rabbits !!!!! And the judging goes surprisingly smoothly. The Huge breeds have 'runners' that bring the rabbits to the table.... with the smaller breeds, in entries, the breeders Are the runners.
