We ended up making a last minute decision to go to the Corners of the South Show in Shreveport, LA this weekend and I have to give a shout out to the show committee and show superintendent, Austin Roark! It was the first time for this club to run a "big" show and they did a great job - triple open/youth show plus specialties!! We showed four times and we were done by mid-afternoon on Saturday! They also did a "6 Rare Breeds" specialty, which I heard so many positive comments about. My kids show Netherlands (so not a rare breed) but those breeders were so excited to have a specialty of their own! Awards were unique, useful, and very well done (too bad we didn't go home with one  ); the venue was very nice; great line up of judges - over-all just a great show! I heard they had over 3,000 entries.
