We purchased 2 flemish giant rabbit youngsters.
They were and still are way under weight.
One was sluggish so we bought some pedialite, removed pellets and enured they had clean hay.
He got a bit better but still a bit off, wife took both to a rabbit friendly Vet who did a poop sample. They say the both have the worst case of Coccida they ever saw.
We adminstered their second set of meds this morning.
Both seem to be better but I am wondering if others had this trouble in the past and how fast they recovered.
We are told we need to medicate 2 times a day for 7 days then bring them back for a follow up.
thanks..
