Is it ok to have a Chinchilla rabbit in a BEW breeding program? Do chinchillas have a ruby glow to their eyes?

Remember an imperfect blue eye is a fault and not a disqualification so opinions will vary on what should and shouldn't be in a BEW program.
Nearly everyone says chocolate and sables shouldn't be bred into BEW
Most say no to the pink eyed himilayan and REW's
Some say no to blue or chinchilla
Personally I think theses opinions are based on what colours they already have and whether they are willing to sacrafice a good looking rabbit that is the "wrong" colour just to get the perfect blue eye

I think it was a grey tint they can add to the eyes. I haven't really looked in to BEW breeding yet but grey eyes happen on other colors that just carry chinchilla. It's not guaranteed though so if it's a good rabbit I'd try it and see what happens.
Thanks you guys, I think I'll ask the breeder about how good the type is and make my decision based on that. She has another litter coming up that is black and black otter but there's no guarantee there will be a female and I was wanting a female.
