Sometimes when a doe is ready to breed she will stretch out flat and lift her back end a little when you pet her. I would not breed her if she's ill.

Not everything has something to do with breeding, definitly not in that case. Hard to tell what that posture means without seeing it, could be out of comfort, to avoid discomfort, or relaxing. Not a sign for wanting to be bred when she's that poorly.

She does like my petting her so it is probably out of comfort.

Can you feed her coconut? That's a pretty nutritious feed that is easy to get in a tropical climate. We used to cut them in half and let the buns nibble the meat out of the middle on their own. You can leave the husk on it or take it off, they can eat the husk if it's left on. We have a hydraulic coconut splitter which makes it easy to feed coconuts to them but now we don't have a coconut tree at the new house.

Are there mulberry or moringa leaves available? Those are nutritious, too.

Yes they LOVE coconut but every one told me that I shouldn’t give it to them. Do you give them the young coconut or the old coconut?

I am going to do a experiment. I will give B any food she wants and I will let her eat as much as she wants because that is what wild rabbits do and you could argue that domestic rabbits don’t have the instincts to bo that but this morning I gave banana to B and at first she was crazy for it but then she started eating the grass instead the same thing happened with the coconut that I gave her so she must have instincts. Also this is kind of her last chance because i and leaving to some where in a week so if she don’t get better then I will have to put her down.

I hope B gets better

That's great. Although I'm baffled about the speed of weight gain. Adding half the body weight in 5 days? Are you sure your scale worked ok all the time? Anyway, if she visible improves, that is great :)
