Cali Vs Cali/Dutch

The kit on the left in the profile pic and the bottom in the top view photo is a cali buck to a dutch doe. The kit on the right and top is a full cali. Both are from the same buck. The full cali is twenty one days old and the mix is eighteen days. The mix is out weighting the full by an 1.5oz. The full is from a first time doe and the mix is from a seasoned doe. It is hard to tell from the photos but the mix is a little more compact than the full and I have a feeling that the full is growing a larger frame and will start out growing the mix around the five week mark. Weighted in today at six weeks. The pure cali's avg weight was 34oz. The Cali mutt dutch mix's avg weight was 30oz. The most noticeable difference is the pure calis are larger in the shoulders at this point. I will weight in again at 8 weeks.

Definitely an interesting experiment, it'll be interesting to see how they finish out

Weighted in again at eight weeks. The pure calis weighted in at 56oz avg or 3.5lb and the mix dutches weighted in at 46oz or 2.8lb. I will weight in again at 12 weeks.
