the best cage floors ever.
good for rabbits and guinea pigs.
A breeze to clean.

I expect it will be costly.
but I don't care. It's great!

I need to replace about half my cage bottoms.
I can't locate it.

Would like to have the technical name for it and it possible a location to buy it.
Located in Canada.

Thanks :)

That is called expanded metal and you should be sure to get the "smooth" or "finished" wire so it doesn't cut the bunnies feet. Also, toes and toenails can get caught in the narrow ends of the openings.

I found it!

Ah.. I didn't know they had smooth or finished.. I should probably check to see if that's what I ordered. :)

Toes and toenails I find get caught in regular cage wire as well. What I know from using it is that i have less issues with my rabbits in this flooring than I do in the regular flooring, and I can run the piggies on it as well.

I am still debating whether to go with that or not, myself ... with the 6 cages I would like to order coming up to just over $200, I simply cannot bring myself to pay almost $100 in shipping costs! <gag me!>
