Bunny addition

I had a doe who kindled a couple of weeks before Christmas. She had 14. Two died. That leaves 12. Right so far.

One more died, some time after they came out of the nestbox. Then there were 11.

Ten days ago I weaned them, weighed them, and moved them to a new pen.

There were twelve of them.

Yesterday I weighed them again and moved the biggest 7 to a different pen.

So there should have been 5 left in the original pen. Right?

Only there were 6.

I've never been great at arithmetic, but this is ridiculous.

This is the only litter I have had since the summer so there is no way they could have got mixed up with another litter.

If your current # is accurate...it looks like she had 16 and nursed 13 of them. That's a pretty impressive accomplishment!
