If you are comfortable with it, I give all my rabbits ivermectin as well. That keeps things from coming back.

Congrats on the new bun, and nice to see you have a good head on your shoulders.

My daughter is 16, and nowhere near mentally ready to have a family. Every person is different, every child develops at his/her own pace. You just got a good jump start on your family. :) And it sounds like a fabulous one.

BTW, so far you are the only one I've talked to that had a Papaw too! I also had a Mamaw. People were always asking me what is a Papaw/Mamaw?! lol

Do you give it as a shot, or pour it one them?

No one I know that is my age could handle my life. It isn't easy but I love it. :)

I have a Mamaw and a Papaw, two different sets of grandparents though! Grandpa sounds so weird to me.

I use ivermectin too, either paste or pour on. I rub a little into each ear when I see signs of mites.

One doe I have seems really prone to them while many never get them at all.

In my family I was the odd one out getting married at 28. All the rest got married in their late teens and very early twenties. Early is no better or worse, than older. (Says the newly separated and happy woman :D )

Rabbits are great for teaching kids the facts of life and reproduction, arnt they? I keep pointing out to my daughter how different the bucks are, how some are kind and gentle and others are so, well, not.
