pasturella can cause lots of things...haven't heard of this one. BUT it can be a sign of a poor immune system and ergo bloating is a rabbit having problems with digestion...

I wouldn't keep a rabbit prone to bloat or digestive upset and would cull for food or burial.

No, but GI Stasis or enteritis would. Pull pellets, feed only hay and oats, get some probiotics (Probios or Benebac) and give them twice a day, along with baby gas drops or GASX strips. These can both be life threatening, so you need to jump on it. Are they drinking, eating? Pooping normally?

Its the one that is preg but today is around day 33/34. I am pretty sure she is infected from pastrella so I though maybe that went with it. Her tummy is still swollen but there isn't any movement to be seen or felt. I cant make myself cull them while pregnant and since all the girls are sick they cant make each other sick so I was waiting until after birth. They are all 1st time moms so I figure the rate of bun loss is pretty high on its own.
rational is twisted simply b/c its hard for me to kill a preg bunny.

__________ Tue Jan 15, 2013 12:33 pm __________

yes, they are drinking, eating, and pooing normally. Remarkable they have all stopped sneezing as well.
