so biscuit is still bleeding.

Since I currently lack the upper body strength to remove her from her cage (requires speed and strength) I asked hubby to help get her out.... she nixed that idea VERY strongly. one large and angry rabbit attempting to seriously bite through welding gloves caused him to back off.

So.. Is there any way I can support her using food/herbs/whatever?

Is it just a wait and see type of thing?

Or can I help support her immune system somehow?

I've fostered four of her kits (that was a trick in and of itself this morning) to ease the load on her.

Last time I had a doe continue bleeding I lost the doe.

Advise would be appreciated.

Raspberry leaves if you have them, or raspberry tea even, will help her uterus contract. I have does that continue to bleed a bit for a couple days after delivery. They usually do fine.

Shepherd's Purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris) should be helpful. Old-time midwives gave it to women to stop bleeding after childbirth. It is also effective for diarrhea. Very safe for rabbits as a food or medicine.
