Best feeding system?

I've been breeding hollands for 5 years and just now realized I never made a solid feeding system. I feed what they can clean up in a day and a handful of hay. How much do you recommend feeding for hollands? What about for pregnant, nursing, and reconditioning does? What about for weened babies? I free feed all of these and never had an issue but I feel there has to be a better way of doing this.

I don’t have Holland’s but I have Rex (Mini and standard) I feed:
All adults not pregnant or nursing 1/2 cup a day. Pregnant 1 cup a day. Nursing unlimited . Grow outs are fed unlimited until they reach adult weight. I also give them unlimited hay, love, and water daily!!!
