I keep telling myself that I'm going to switch over to auto water nipples, plugged into the bottom of open top containers, such as used juice jugs. I've seen it done, and it seems to work well. I am currently up to 40 does and 10 bucks. Water bottles are taking me FOREVER!
So, I was telling a friend about this idea and she asked how they are different from the pin style valves. I am assuming (we know what that means) that they don't take as much pressure as the pin style.
So, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience changing over from ball valves to auto nipples. Will the rabbits ignore them like the pin style? Is there a trick to getting them to use them? It seems I heard peanut butter on the tip, but can't remember exactly (this could have been regarding pigs, goats, dogs...who knows).
