So I got a phone call from a neighbor.

"you have sheep right?"

I was like yeaaaahhhhhh?

"I know someone who knows someone that has a bummer lamb, it's only 4 days old!".

me: yeaaaaahhhhh? I guess I could bottle feed it.

So later in the day, a friend of a friend picks up the lamb and meets us at the corner store to "do the deal". haha!

I came home with a cute 4 day old lamb I named Daisy. I'm bottle feeding her Nacho milk. Which is funny, she needs more milk than Nacho gives each day. I've been banking milk for a LONG time so I have tons in the freezer! I had no idea what I was going to use the milk for, but now I know.

Every four hours for the next few days.

Here is Daisy and I. She's currently next to our couch in a dog kennel. :) I can't leave her outside!

Aww! She sure is cute!

I'm glad you have the frozen milk, because my first thought was "That's going to be one expensive sheep!"

What kind is she? She looks like a hair sheep, not a wool breed... :?

So she is a meat sheep... are you going to keep her and breed her then, since she will be so tame?

Incredibly cute photos, cute lambie-pie. How large does her breed (or this cross) get? I'm glad she can thrive on the goat's milk, but goats and sheep are much more closely related than people and cows are, and many of "us" drink cow's milk almost daily. :)

Great shot of her with the dog!

Wow! She's adorable! Very pretty. What type of sheeps do you have? :) meat I'm assuming, but same crosses? Would she fit in your program? She's super cute.

My female sheep are pets, grazers. Barbadoes black belly, Katahdin mix.

I have two males that are "grow outs" for meat. One is a pure breed dorper and the other is a dorper mix.

I have 6 acres of orchard that I need the grazing on, the goats gets the high up stuff and the sheep get the low down stuff. :)

Aww, that mama is so fat! LOL. When is she due? She looks like the babies are ready to roll out her sides! :p pregnant goats and sheep are hilarious since the babies really only bulge out one side...

The little black and white one is very pretty too!
