    New Title: In Indy

They're considered Sable Point in some breeds, just the chocolate variety. As far as your comment about the Blue Flemish, they are the smallest. I have raised blues for years.

    New Title: In Indy

Sorry I had to quote your last post, but for some reason, I can't message you. None of my friends at Convention want to answer their messages, so I'll try here. :x Are there any Sallanders? They are a type of the Cinnamon breed, just a different color. Also, are there any in any other breeds...

    Name this color! Please!

Ok, so that would mean that Ecto is a Sallander, right? Any ideas on Pac-Man?

    Name this color! Please!

This is Ecto! He was born here in my barn, I have been TRYING to get a Sallander in my barn, that I can actually use. He was born. His sisters are Harlequin and REW. His Dad is a Blue Sallander, now that I know THAT exists. Is he Sallander? What are the other two considered? The other two are...

    Sallander

I get a lot of crap from breeders because we raise pets, along with our pedigreed buns. I figure, if I'm the one paying to feed them, what's it matter to anyone else who I raise? RT people seem to be a LOT nicer than Facebook people, in general. I have yet to make a friend through RT, but they...

    New Title: In Indy

PLEASE Post pictures. I wanted to go so badly, but I get SO much anxiety from PASRBA, and this is at least five times the size. That, and I couldn't afford it. Either way, I'd like to see it.

Help me with my future Rabbit Sales Contract

I've been doing this quite a while. I will attach the link to our website, which has our Sales Policy on it. We require it to be signed, for every bun that leaves here. It has been modified, and tweaked, to what you see today. http://flemish21.wixsite.com/jjcrabbitry/sales-policy

    Charging $100 For a Mutt...Can I Do This?

I charge what I feel is right for the market at the time. I have had a few babies that are mutts that have gone for $100. My husband calls it the "if I have to sell it" price. 8-)

    Sallander

Ok, I have done research to no avail. Literally. Last year at PASRBA I found what I had thought I would never find. I found a Sallander Holland Lop. ( At least that is what I was told ) She was being sent to the meat man, because due to her breeder being a butt-munch, she had bad teeth, as did...

    Iris Heterochromia

She is GORGEOUS! I have a slight obsession with Sallanders.

Surprise Shadeds in a BEW/VM litter

In my experience, this is called Sallander. It is a "color" I have searched for for years, and finally found at a show last year. Long story short, I have since produced this in my barn, but my guy is chocolate based. I also have two boys I purchased, that are Sallander. One is chocolate based...

    How paranoid do you get?

Must you really ask ME this? I have been a rabbitry for 5 years now. I now meet off of our property. My Dad has antique cars, and one day, I had a man show up early. He waltzed up our driveway, and went straight into the garage. It was open, but, he didn't see my Dad working underneath one of...

When you are not sure, always put a nest box in. Always!

I was always told that does can't get pregnant with only one fall off. I lost an entire litter of Holland Lops, because I was dumb, and didn't put a box in. Now, all does that go in with a buck, are assumed pregnant, until proven otherwise.

    Dog breeding?

We have two Great Pyrenees, and they guard our land, and my rabbits. My mom joked one too many times with my dad about buying a female, and he went out and got one. We plan to be breeding mid June/July. :) :bunnyhop:

    Anyone going to PASRBA?

I am not this year. I don't really do the whole "showing" thing. I hang out with some friends, pick up supplies, and this year, i'll be picking up some new stock. :D :D :D

    Anyone going to PASRBA?

Just curious to see if anyone is going to the show!

ISO Flemish Giants, pedigreed, at PASRBA

I am in a desperate search for either blue or black doe Flemish. I would also consider another color, but then I would need a pair. Pedigrees are a must, and you must be local to Strasburg PA, or be at PASRBA yourself. I will not commit to buying anything without physically seeing it first.

    A few kit questions.

I remove the nest box once they are spending more time out of it, then they are in. I find that they tend to use it more as a litter box at that point, but that's just me. I follow my own judgement. If I do take the box out, I make sure they have PLENTY of hay to burrow into, and I NEVER take it...
