This is baby week here we have 4 litters of rabbits due and my milk goat had 3 kids yesterday 2 does and a buck.

I checked them again at dark and they were all doing well.

They both he'd their kits today and they had 9 each all alive and well so far both seem like good moms.

I keep my bucks away from my does and it works for me. Last fall I had my buck with does all around him and he got lazy. So I moved him away and put him in another barn 2 days later he was ready for action. So l guess the old saying absence makes the heart grow fonder is right.

Do you keep your buck where he can see the does?

I agree with cwd I am a 4h archery coach we have 15 kids from 9 to15 that we coach in shooting sports about 9 months of the year getting to be around these wonderful children is one of my favorite things to do I feel like I get more from it than they do.

shannon i went out and sexed those youngones this am and best i can tell it is about a 50\50 split which is fine because i have a hard time sending little does to the freezer. i have a lady picking up 2 young does this weekend.
