Both my does start nesting about 2 weeks early, every time. I give them a nestbox about 10 days in advance and they seem happier that way.

I agree, nestboxes are so so easy to make! I cut the wood myself with my miter saw, but Home Depot or Lowe's will cut a piece of lumbar to your specs for free, usually up to three times per piece. Since I was using 1/2" plywood, I decided not to use nails or screws and instead used Gorilla Glue...

I just butchered my first rabbits a few days ago. I, too, had a hard time deboning. I think next time I'm going to take some kitchen string or wire, wrap it around one end of the bone and pull it down. I'm hoping this will easily and cleanly take off th meat...but I don't know for sure as I have...
