Help? Siamese vs Sable Point vs Sallander

She's definitely not siamese sable. She's too light and creamy for that. I'd say she's either a seal point or a sallander, you can't tell the two apart just by looking at them.

Giving my doe a third chance?

Netherland dwarfs are hard to breed, give her another chance.

Double steel drama(long and a smidge of a rant)

The definition of "clean lines" depends on whoever you ask. A lot of the top self breeders just breed self x self, their selfs breed true (even if they are supersteels), so they focus on type & fur instead of breeding in other colors. Then people try to breed self into other colors to improve...

Double steel drama(long and a smidge of a rant)

Are you talking about NZ or Satin? I can't tell. Either way, steel is very, very common in both those breeds. Most self satins and almost all black/blue NZ are actually super steels. Super steels breed true (phenotypically as selfs) until you add in other colors (like you did crossing to an...

    Hello from Oregon

Welcome. I also show (and judge) in ARBA. Used to be in 4H myself. Glad to see more show people on here.

    Please Assist - Breed ID

I agree with Zass. Looks like a mixed breed. Can't tell much beyond that. The harlequin gene needed to make magpie (her color) could come from many different breeds, not just the Harlequin breed. The white on face might just be part of the magpie pattern a well.

My Dutch rabbits got a accidental dwarf gene.

The dwarf gene doesn't usually run in dutch. Could just be a runt

    Ear markings in inner ear??

That just happens sometimes with brokens. Normally their ears are solid black but sometimes they get white spots inside the ear

    Does my doe carry rew?

The medium shades of sable marten have to carry rew OR himi/pointed white. You can't tell just by looking at it if it carries rew; it could carry himi instead, at least in breeds where they have himi like in netherland dwarf.

    Where to find stackable cages

If you're in California you're right by KW cages, which is my favorite cage company. They come to all the california shows, so you can pick up the cages there without paying shipping

    Meat Rabbit Housing

The hutches with hideouts I would never use. I've had some given to me. Ended up just taking them to the dump. Wood absorbs urine and is IMPOSSIBLE to sanitize. It starts to smell very bad very quick and can foster diseases. The 'hideout' area is very difficult to clean. The hutches have less...

    Color help!

Still quite sure it is just a chilled californian. They don't even have to be noticeable cold to get that coloring, and it quite often happens to just one kit in a litter. I see it all the time in my himalayans; here is one that was particularly dark

Interested in getting a new buck

Doesn't look full lionhead to me. If he is, he's not good quality.

    Color help!

The one with the light ears in the first picture is a sable agouti/sable chinchilla. The buck looks like a sable steel. The one darker kit in the litter of californians is just because it got cold; their colors darken in the cold. It should molt away and have a normal californian adult coat

How do I increase Litter Size?

1-4 is pretty normal for a holland.

Need help with judging Champagne D'Argent type

He look pretty decent. Could use more depth but look like a show type rabbit. Width is very important in commercial breeds though, which is hard to tell from this picture

    Bunny Names!

I quite like the name Pascal. He was my favorite mathematician in middle school.
