My Dutch rabbits got a accidental dwarf gene.

My last litter had :shock: a peanut.

It's normal with smaller rabbits to have a peanut every now and then, I breed hollands and have had a few

I'm thinking maybe it's not a peanut but just a deformed runt. It's still alive. It was bony with shrinken stomach early on but has gain weight after I let it nurse before its litter mates.

The dwarf gene doesn't usually run in dutch. Could just be a runt

most likely just a weak kit when it comes to dutch. You might wish to supplement as needed or let nature take its course (unless it's suffering in which case please be kind and euthanize). Sometimes runty kits surprise especially once they get one solid feed in them.
