Giving my doe a third chance?

Hi,

I have a Netherland dwarf doe who has failed her first and second litter.

The first they were born dead.
The second she had only one and it died of cold outside the nest area.

Is there any point to breed her a third time?
Is she just a poor mother?

Are Netherland dwarfs hard to breed?
Or is it just that doe?

Ps. Both mum and dad are false dwarfs

I'd give her a shot. I give my does 3 strikes after the first litter

I even tend to count kits outside the nest as my mistake, since very few nestbox designs are close to natural circumstances.

Also, if that happens and you find a stone cold kit, warm it up, no matter how dead it looks (unless it's stiff as a board or badly injured). I had this happen twice this year, one newborn and one one week old, and both came back to live. The week old died soon after though, I guess it works better with newborns.

My method is putting them in a plastic bag and holding them into 38°C/100°F warm water, for up to 20 minutes, and moving them somewhat.

I would give her a 3rd chance too, and try to get multiple fall offs to avoid a giant singleton, the science behind that is debated but I would give it a shot anyway.
