    selling composting materials?

After seeing a worm wriggle across the lens of her eye, my sister started taking dollops of ivermectin whenever she'd worm her horses. The eye worms disappeared and her sinus allergies improved considerably!!!

Bloat where there was none before in a charlie

He wasn't having any issues until I started him on greens, probably too fast. He comes from GC broken and solid NZR parents and grandparents, but I need his charliness to bring more white into my broken lines. All my broken reds are getting to be more than 80% solid, which is as undesireable...

Bloat where there was none before in a charlie

Yes, I had a packet of Bene Bac that I've started to put on his food. Earlier I was thinking of how people get fecal transplants to get their gut bacteria corrected but I couldn't think of how to do it to a rabbit. Thankfully you mentioned the BeneBac and I was like, "Duh, Suzanne!"

Bloat where there was none before in a charlie

Thank you, Homer! Today when cleaning cages I saw his poo has become blocky shaped and he hasn't been touching the hay. He has been vacuuming down the oats. I've been letting him loose to help work out some of the bloatiness--exercise helps me, ya know? He's cheerful when loose and he's not in...

Bloat where there was none before in a charlie

One month ago I bought a rabbit that is a Charlie. I know that charlies can have intestinal issues and was an acceptable risk factor when I purchased the buckling. He wasn't bloated a month ago. He transitioned over to the feed and hay at my place and I started him on greens slowly also. In the...

    Winding down for summer

That'll give me enough time to breed bigger into these rabbits!! lol Come August I'll be going down to SC for a criuse, maybe we can meet along the way? This morning I had to cull one of the broken doelings, but I don't know which one it was til I compare pictures of markings. I need a tattooer!!!

    Blood or red urine

Usually rabbit pee can be all the colors of the rainbow depending on what they've eaten, so most likely it's pee. Blood is a much thicker consistency than pee and will congeal into flakes in a few minutes due to coagulants, whereas pee will still by liquidy after a few minutes. Great job doing...

    Winding down for summer

Here is Ripper (his name is from his ear which was courtesy of his mother in the nest box). Dotty is Ripper's daughter from a broken black NZ, so she's pedigreed!! I wonder what she's going to throw me this fall when bred to Hammer!

How many kits in one cage

I have NZ Reds. I built two 24x49 growout cages, which in a pinch, can be divided into four 24x24s. I've had as many as nine in one 24x49 up til 3 months old/FC time. They have two feeders and two half-gallon waterers per cage.

    Winding down for summer

Here they are!!! If I were into dogs, I'd say I've been hounded for pictures, but seems how it's rabbits, I hopped right to it!!! Not the best pictures of the doelings and not in the least positioned, but what do y'all think? I'm loving Rosebud, she' definitely got Wheatley's big head! Let's...
