Went out yesterday and had 5 week olds laying in 2 water bowls and had ice bottles in too. Had 103.8 on the thermometer today!! Cool down coming tomorrow and maybe rain!! :D

I put a frozen jug of water in with the cali doe and 7 bunnies today after reading on here that it is a good way to help them cool. Didn't take long for them to decide to cuddle up to it!!

I had one out a couple weeks ago and figured I'd get it when he was big enough to butcher. But ended up catching him with a fish net.

I have a Bushnell trail camera and it works good.....have seem better night pics for other, more expensive cameras with a flash. The big thing about it is the batteries seem to last forever....unlike some that eat them up. It is infra-red ...no flash but is about $200.....unless on sale.

Went out to see the bunnies and give them some blackberry leaves...and relax after work. Opened the door and had 4 little ones drop to the ground and run in every direction!! I'm sure I'm not the first to have this happen .......but I'll be opening the pen door much more carefully from here...

Bought an Easter bunnie for the grandkids last year and said it would stay at grandpas. Really think it was just a gateway rabbit for grandpa to get back to raising some meat rabbits. So this spring I bought a Cali doe and buck. Bred the lop and got my first litter in over 30 years...
