Sorry to hear about poor Cupcake and Leia :( Hopefully the losses stop here, and the rest of your herd proves to be hardy and resistent stock. You caught things pretty early and learned an important lesson in rabbit husbandry, and sometimes those lessons are learned the hard way.....trust me...

I have a Cali doe that is between 2-3 and she produced two litters of 7 & 8 kits in the past year (she missed one breeding), so production was down a bit or it could have been the buck....but she is still a good mom and I am hanging onto her while my juniors grow out. I would not keep a barn...
