    Bugzy appears dried up?

When I checked his testicles both were withdrawn into the groin and had a withered look. Based on what I read in Bob Bennett's book that is a sign he may be sterile. In the past they have been full. Plus in the past few months I have had very few successful breedings and I am wondering if the...

    Bugzy appears dried up?

Help- Yesterday I was planning on using Bugzy for a breeding and prior to bringing the doe to him I checked him and he appears to have dried up. He is just about 1 1/2 yrs old and been a proven breeder in the past. The weather has been warmer than usual. Could temps in the mid 70's cause him...

    Help watery eye

It has been very windy here lately. She is one of the rabbits located outside. To be sage I brought her into my isolation area and she seems to be just fine. Like I said before she is eating well and currently I have only seen her with the watery eye once. I guess at this point I just plan on...

    Morels

They are early this year in Wisconsin, it is amazing that some people are charging up to $40 per pound. They are good, just not that good!

    New Zealand Blue ?

So now I may have found some blues, but the problem is how do I get them for the west coast to Wisconsin, anyone have any ideas? I don't think I can talk my hubby into a road trip.

    Wifes homing pigeons...pics

We use our homers for training our bird dogs to hold steady on point. For the pups we place the pigeon in a bird lancher and hide both in tall grass. Then take the pup out to practice hunting. The pup will start running through the field searching for the scent of birds and when the pup starts...

    Flying Rabbits?

The vet did surgery on her to lance it but within a few weeks it returned plus she got snuffles. I assume the stress of everything caused the weakness in her system and made her sick.

    Flying Rabbits?

Well I can say from past experience that I had Amelia the Flying Nun! Unfortunately for her efforts she gave herself a bloody nose and an abcess that would never go away. In the end I had to cull her.

    Tumorous growths- what the heck?

I just had to put down a buck last month that had developed a huge tumor on it's neck. I sure hope that I don't have more issues in the future. I sanitized the entire cage and dishes before using it again. The mass was rock hard but after culling him I did find it to contain white thick puss.

    Pasture ideas

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I hadn't even given a thought about putting wire down on the ground to prevent digging. Currently I am just giving mine a handful of greens each day in their pens. Still not sure which method is better since I have a homegrown predator from our "dog kennel"...
