    Okay, so...

Thank you, MamaSheepdog! I checked her ears, and they look fine, so I'll figure something out. You said "food grade diatomaceous earth"? What is that, exactly?

    Okay, so...

I just brought in one of my 3 month old does and noticed that she has cuts and scabs on her back, kind of close to her neck. My dad mentioned that there have been mosquitoes in the backyard near the rabbits and my theory is that a few bit her and she either chewed on her skin or used something...

    New Litter!!

Thank you!! Haven't been on in over a week, but thank you. It's an idea. We ended up losing one kit, and we're still unsure how, but he/she is gone, so we're down to 10. Hope they all survive!! And get nice and big :)

    New Litter!!

4 days ago, I got a healthy litter from one of our first time does and she's been doing great! All 11 were born healthy and in the nesting box, and they've all survived. I've noticed something on a few of them that I got curious about, though. At least 3 of them have what looks like dried mucus...

Thank you MamaSheepdog :) They opened their eyes at about 11-12 days old, if I remember correctly, and we removed them all from the nesting box today :) They're 17 days old now, and all eight are alive and well. They're so cute! Every time I go out there, they're all stacked up on top of each...

Thank you all for your support! :) They're all still healthy and they've all survived! 8 days old today, but it looks like one of the smaller ones is getting nesting eye... Is there anything I can do?

Thanks, guys! :) You'd think the stress would be over but I just worry over everything. And I'm so protective of them.. My mom said that they'll think I'm their mom if I keep spending so much time out there with them. By the way, I'm going to need some help sexing them...

Well yesterday, she was supposed to have them but didn't, so it was a bit disappointing for me... I think I was more nervous than she was. More stressed about it hahaha She had a litter of 8 today between 11am and 2pm. They are so cute and adorable and I'm so proud of her :) This is the first...

    Weight-loss motivation thread

My Agricultural Biology teacher started at 236lbs about 46 days ago. He is now down to about 212 and dropping :o His goal is to be 195 by summer!! Amazing! I wish I had the self-control and commitment that he does. My mom said that my metabolism will eventually slow down and I won't be able to...

I am just a ball of stress. I shouldn't be so stressed about it because my Pal doe still has 22 days until she's due... and it's not even her first litter, but I'm still nervous. I'm part of FFA with my high school and we bred the Pals for the fair in May. My uncle had me bring the breeding...

New to this forum, and new to meat rabbits

Welcome to the site! :) I'm new as well... Sounds like you have quite a farm going! Hah, that's really cool. Between school and chores, I don't have too much time on hand to take care of a million pets :P but that would be really cool. I, sort of, always wanted to do that haha I love animals...
