The breeder I got the blue from didn't recommend it.

But if I did what would the likely outcome be?

What breed are these? You've posed them like mini rex or polish. The ears are probably too long for any compact breed. You should measure those. The buck has a long back for pretty much any compact breed as well.

The head shape may not have enough cheek and ears are questionable but otherwise the doe might improve the body type. She peaks well and has a nice end to her hindquarters. Both things the buck has issues with. However head type and ear size are difficult things to keep in the polish and ND breeds and the polish standard places more points on the front end than the body type. His head might be a little flattened in the front which is a fault but may not be counted by some judges if they are looking for the wide cheeks and roundness. Technically the head should taper rather than be flat on the nose like an ND. It would require front pics of both to really judge head type and top pics would be useful as well.

The doe's (Isabel) ears are a little under 2 1/2" in long and the buck's (Uno) are almost 2 3/4" in long. The doe weighs 2ibs 5oz. The buck weighs 2ibs 11oz. The way I took the pictures make's their ears look longer. I think because I was looking more up at them giving them the illusion that they are long. I had them sitting on my hutch and it is about 4-41/2 feet tall and I am about 5'3" so it's harder to take them.

To me it looks like Isabel is missing fur on her ears in that last shot. Maybe the lighting or angle?

Yes it's the lighting, here are some more pictures I took, so you can get a better ideal of their color etc.

Sorry their coats are kind of oily because I just put coconut oil on their coats today.

Thank you Sagebrush. After I looked at the ears in the picture it does look bare, even when I'm grooming her it can sometimes look bare and I have to look closer, there is hair but it isn't real long and it kind of blends in to the skin.
