does anyone knows the fat and protein levels of whole raw peanuts.. I am making my own supplements .. wanting to add peanuts in the mix.....
I am only going to be using pellets a little in my grain mix.. .. The rabbits are slowly getting transfer over with grains and greens veg... and hay of course

http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/4808 I hope that link works to go straight to the raw peanut info but otherwise you can run the search yourself. Useful site for all foods typically used for humans.

Peanuts are a higher than average risk for toxic mold that is not visible. A bunch of people got sick a few years back from some poorly stored peanuts. The shell is the worst though. If you use them without the shell the risk goes down some.

The wh food info has a section that is a little off. The section titled
Eating Nuts Lowers Risk of Weight Gain
and talks about all nuts is inaccurate because peanuts are not actually a nut. They are a legume like soy and other beans.
