Hello all. I have an idea to make a fodder system that floods and drains on a timer. I will still need to rinse seed, add seed, change water daily. I am wondering where everyone gets their parts for their systems. I am looking for overflows and flush mounted drains. Anyone have a online supplier or brick and motar they recommend. Thanks.
Also, a feed store in lancaster has wheat and oats, but no barley. I assume wheat and oats are just fine. They sell the wheat at $12.75 for 100lbs and oats at $20 for 100lbs. Should I go with the wheat? How long should the seed store inside the house? Can I put it in freezer to extend the shelf life?
