I think there's a show there the second weekend in April. Can't seem to google it up.
Anyone been there and know approx. where? Even a NE KS answer would be more helpful than I have now.

When I put it in Google Maps it shows Russell just North of I-70 in the center of the state.

There it is! Don't know why I couldn't get it to pull up before. Thanks Bill!

Says it's 4.5 hours away from OKC. Anyone been to this show? Is it worth the drive?

Don't know what the show is like, but there isn't much to see in that section of the state, except maybe Nebraska or Colorado. IOW, it's flat, there is nothing out there, and on a clear day you can usually see over into the next state.

If you're from the Great Plains, it's a beautiful part of the country. If not, then you'll quickly realize why the early pioneers called it the "Great American Desert".

I don't show so never been to a show there. I visited there once while I was in college - it's the home of Bob Dole. If you don't know who that is then you're too young. ;-)

Probably won't be the most scenic drive you've ever taken, but the roads are good and now's the time of year to go there. Summers are too hot and Winters are too cold...just like OK.
