I had a first time Mom mishap yesterday. She is a 7 month old Cali. Despite the box being in her cage, she had all but 1 of them them on the wire. I put them back in the box, but they ended up back out and died. There was one left in the box.

If she ends up with none, when should I breed her again?

+1 what Dood said. I had a Cali doe that did a similar thing. 6 dead kits on the wire. I rebred her that day and she now has 7 fluffy mini-me's.
:)

I have been lucky so far, but I had read that lots of first time does loose their first litters. I did have one that had them all on the wire but I happen to catch it and they were all saved with a bit of work. I think you can re-breed right away. Hopefully she will do better, but if not usually 3 strikes and your out.
