What were you doing?

I was snuggled under my blankets, Gunny at my feet, thumbing through catalogues--- Making New Years dreams...

Does ''when the ball dropped" mean midnight on new years eve?
I was in here telling people I'm a timetraveller being in 2013 while you're all in 2012! :D
(time differense) Yes, it's sad, I know xD

Sleeping.... (inadvertently) I DID intend to watch the ball drop but I guess I was the one who "dropped off"! Woke up about quarter after and thought wow 45 minutes still to go!! Then realized Ryan Seacrest was talking about how people "seemed slower to leave the area" this year....dang quarter after 12!! NOT 11!! sooo got up and went to real bed.

See, you can tell us ahead of time what is happening!!! ;)

It is not sad-- just you fitting in with the rest of us..

Hiding under the bed waiting for the gun fire to stop...

Not really. Typing on RT waiting for my twirly start to appear.

We stayed up watching AFV, even my 7 yr. old made it. Not looking forward to dealing with sleepy heads today though, hope they sleep the day away!

Watching the ball drop in time square.............................On the internet. :D

We let the kids stay up every year, we watch movies, dance and play. Then we share our resolutions before heading to be by 1. The kids love it.
Our new neighbors may hate us for all the loud music and laughter though. lol

We were waiting for the neighbors to set off their fireworks! We had been told that the people out here go nuts with the fireworks. We set ours off from 10:30 - 11:00, but nobody else ever did! :(

We heard lots of booms in the distance... other than that, it was just us.

We didn't have a lot. But we had some, because it's the first New Year at our new home, and we finally live somewhere where we can set off fireworks!

Wishing the neighbors' fireworks would go away so I could go to bed and go to sleep!

:grump:  :furious: :wall:  :bash: :explode:

on here skimming around.. on facebook.. on craigslist... basically same as any other night i'm awake lol

:yeahthat:

Except replace craigslist with kijiji, and throw in something about laughing at the dog fretting over his baby bunnies.

On the internet trying to find a song I wanted to play as the new year rolled in. Found it... 3 min. after the new year arrived! :x

Then I stayed up another 2 hours mostly hanging around here! :D

I see I'm not the only one who got more bang than they bargained for. I worry a lot about stray bullets and firewoorks, 20 minutes before and twenty minutes after New Years.
