Oh, poor Mumsy! That is going to be hard, but you must be so proud of them both.

My eldest is 15, so I still have a few years. The youngest is 10 though, and another 8 years or so doesn't seem like very long at all...

Yeah, but that gets EXPEN$IVE!! Especially when ball game tickets (for COLLEGE!!) are nearing the $200-per-person mark. . . :x And #1 son is stationed 12 hours in the opposite direction. . .

On the plus side, #3 son will be just a little more than an hour away (not ten hours like when his oldest brother was attending), and we just found out that my BIL owns a time share very close to where #2 son will be going to school and has offered to let us stay there once in a while.

And, just because the ball game is close doesn't mean you actually have to attend the game, rather he would be more likely to be able to hitch a ride, you folks can drive in, pick him up at the stadium and spend several quality hours together until the game is over Or maybe even hitch a ride yourselves and just meet at the stadium as there will be all kinds of eateries within walking distance of campus LOL Probably with the game on too <br /><br />__________ Wed Jul 18, 2012 2:19 pm __________<br /><br />I can see it now ... #1 son gets a 96hour pass and hitches home where you all load up and pick up #3 son on the way to the time share where #2 son is waiting to spend the weekend with all of ya'll
